Abstract (English): Teleworking has experienced significant growth in Ecuador and Colombia, especially driven by the COVID-19 pandemic and facilitated by advances in information technology; therefore, this study has proposed to analyze and evaluate the regulatory framework and practices of teleworking in Ecuador and Colombia to identify benefits, disadvantages and challenges, supported by a detailed analysis of current legislation, case studies and the modeling of the CRITIC AND MOORA method to measure the effectiveness of the proposed measures. The results obtained have identified benefits and disadvantages that are determined. In conclusion, the proposed measures ensure an equitable, productive work environment in harmony with fundamental rights in Ecuador and Colombia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): El teletrabajo ha experimentado un crecimiento significativo en Ecuador y Colombia, especialmente impulsado por la pandemia de COVID-19 y facilitado por avances en tecnología de la información; por ende, este estudio se ha propuesto analizar y evaluar el marco normativo y las prácticas del teletrabajo en Ecuador y Colombia para identificar beneficios, perjuicios y retos, auxiliándose del análisis detallado de la legislación vigente, estudios de caso y la modelación del método CRITIC Y MOORA para medir la efectividad de las medidas propuestas. Los resultados obtenidos han identificado beneficios y perjuicios que se determinan. En conclusión, las medidas propuestas aseguran un entorno laboral equitativo, productivo y en armonía con los derechos fundamentales en Ecuador y Colombia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
