Abstract: The current study is a systematic literature review of the studies on language mindsets. It endeavours to address the growing interest in language mindsets research and practice and, to review the evidence on the aspects of language mindsets, research approach, participants, data collection, data analysis and results in a systematic review. The methods included keyword research and an in‐depth review of the articles. PRISMA (The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta‐Analyses) flow diagram was used in data collection. It included three stages: identifying the sources, screening the studies and including the studies in the review. The screening was conducted in Web of Science Core Collection on the 10th of July, 2024 and 66 articles were identified to be reviewed. The data were analysed through typological analysis. The results were presented under predetermined themes. The implications and recommendations are discussed in the study. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
