| Abstract (English): | The evolution of digital technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), is radically transforming the landscape of language teacher education. This paper explores how the integration of innovative technologies and methodologies can open up new scenarios in language education. Focusing on a training initiative organized by the University for Foreigners of Perugia, the study analyzes the potential and challenges of technologies and AI, emphasizing the importance of continuous teacher training. The aim is to outline a path that combines technological innovation with methodological and pedagogical awareness, providing language teachers with effective tools and strategies to face future challenges. | Abstract (Italian): | L'evoluzione delle tecnologie digitali, in particolare l'Intelligenza Artificiale (IA), sta trasformando radicalmente il panorama della formazione degli insegnanti di lingue. Questo contributo esplora come l'integrazione di tecnologie e metodologie innovative possa aprire nuovi scenari nell'educazione linguistica. Lo studio si concentra su un'iniziativa di formazione promossa dall'Università per Stranieri di Perugia e analizza potenzialità e sfide delle tecnologie e dell'IA, sottolineando l'importanza di una formazione continua per gli insegnanti. L'obiettivo è delineare un percorso che unisca innovazione tecnologica e consapevolezza metodologica e pedagogica, fornendo agli insegnanti di lingue strumenti e strategie efficaci per affrontare le sfide future.
