Abstract (English): The aim of this paper isto bring the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) closer to the field of Physical Education from a practical and classroom-transferable perspective. To achieve this, the paper begins with a conceptualization of UDL and a review of the current state of research regarding its implementation in Physical Education. Subsequently, a set of practical strategies will be proposed for applying UDL in the classroom, particularly aimed at overcoming some of the main barriers to student participation identified in the literature. This approach seeks to address one of the most pressing gaps in current research: the need to provide teachers with real, applicable resources for everyday practice. Among these practical proposals, a specific perspective on how to approach assessment in contexts where UDL is implemented will also be presented. The intended outcomes of this proposal are not to offer universal solutions, but rather to support teachers through practical examples, ideas, and principles that can be adapted to their specific contexts. The lack of scientific evidence on the impact of UDL in Physical Education highlights the need to first establish conceptual and empirical foundations that encourage teachers to progressively incorporate UDL in their practice, and subsequently to carry out research projects that examine its effectiveness. Abstract (Spanish): El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo acercar los principios del Diseño Universal para el Aprendizaje (DUA) en el ámbito de la Educación Física desde una perspectiva práctica y transferible al aula. Para ello, se llevará a cabo una primera conceptualización del DUA y análisis del estado de la cuestión sobre su aplicación en Educación Física. Posteriormente, se ofrecerá un conjunto de estrategias prácticas para aplicar el DUA en el aula, especialmente orientado a superar algunas de las barreras principales encontradas en la literatura en relación a la participación del alumnado. Con ello, se trata de cubrir uno de los vacíos más destacados en la literatura como es la necesidad de dotar al profesorado de recursos reales y transferibles al día a día. Dentro de las propuestas prácticas, se ofrecerá una visión específica sobre cómo abordar la evaluación en contextos en los que se aplica el DUA. Los resultados buscados con esta propuesta no pretenden crear soluciones universales, pero sí facilitar al docente, mediante ejemplos prácticos, ideas y principios que le permitan adaptar esas propuestas a su realidad. La falta de evidencias científicas sobre el impacto del DUA en Educación Física justifica la necesidad de, en primer lugar, establecer las bases conceptuales y empíricas para que el profesorado emplee progresivamente cada vez más el DUA en las aulas, y, posteriormente, llevar a cabo proyectos de investigación que analicen su impacto.
