Abstract (English): This study explores the perception of students from the Ceuta and Melilla centers of the University of Granada on violence, experienced and perceived in relationships, as well as to determine the differences, if any, among the students of the Undergraduate Degree in Primary Education (PE) and in Early Childhood Education (ECE) of these two university centers. The method used was the survey technique of a probability sample composed of 213 subjects. As a data collection tool, the violence in young couple relationships questionnaire (VIREPA), by González-Gijón and Soriano (2021) was used to determine the different violences experienced by the participants. The results show a low estimation of direct physical violence and sexual abuse, and conversely a high estimation of violence and emotional abuse, personal devaluation, and social and economic control. The findings indicate that students of the Degree in Primary Education (Ceuta) and Early Childhood Education (Melilla) dominate on the scale of direct (psychological), structural and cultural-symbolic violence. The complex panorama of violence in young couples points to an example of hybrid violence, in which all violence coexists, thus reaffirming the need to promote prevention initiatives from the university level.
