| Abstract: |
The article presents a test case that used specialized generative artificial intelligence (AI) called CatalogerGPT to generate MAchine-Readable Cataloging (MARC) bibliographic records or fields based on prompts and uploaded files. It provides observations on the experimentation with CatalogerGPT including the transcription of International Standard Book Numbers and title fields, subject headings, conference heading, table of contents, access point for the organization and date of the metadata. |
