Abstract: The study purpose is to demonstrate the impact of online communication in the Moodley learning platform on students' academic performance. The study included 438 students divided into control and experimental groups. The experimental group used Moodley for learning according to the same curriculum and demonstrated higher academic achievement. Students' interaction with the learning platform was studied according to 9 parameters, characterising the time spent in the system, the number of assessments started and completed, the time and number of communications with peers, and the total number of clicks. The time spent in continuous contact with the platform, the number of completed assignments, and the intensity of interaction with peers have a strong correlation with academic success. Based on the findings of the study, recommendations were proposed to significantly increase the effectiveness and success of students' learning using online learning platforms. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
