Abstract (English): The present research aims to systematically document an innovative educational experience in the field of learning assessment, particularly in the design of graduation assessment. There is virtually no evidence of this in Mexico, except for the work carried out by the National Center for Higher Education Assessment. Using an ad hoc methodological process based on a comprehensive approach, 10 undergraduate graduation tests were designed at a Mexican university. The results demonstrate the feasibility of developing instruments of this nature using a novel methodology that can be replicated, positioning the comprehensive approach to assessment and institutional leadership as a foundation for assessment initiatives characterized by their theoretical, methodological, and technical quality, as well as their relevance to institutional needs.
