Abstract (English): This article aims to design, validate, and apply an instrument to measure Spanish university students' perceptions of gender equality across various social domains. The developed instrument, named CIPEJIG (Research Questionnaire on Youth Perception of Gender Equality), is structured into eight thematic dimensions: labor, family, education, health, social and cultural, economic, gender-based violence, and personal autonomy. The methodological process was carried out in two phases. In the first phase, the content of the instrument was constructed and validated using the Delphi method, involving 18 expert participants, and guided by Moriyama's criteria to ensure conceptual validity, proper operationalization, and clarity of items. In the second phase, the questionnaire was administered to a nonprobabilistic sample of 1,640 students from Campus Iberus universities. Statistical analyses included data imputation, Cronbach's alpha calculation (0.80 overall), and exploratory factor analysis using principal component methods. The results reveal a factorial structure consistent with the theoretical design and acceptable reliability across most dimensions. The empirical groupings reflect differentiated perceptions across thematic areas, confirming the multidimensional nature of gender equality and its complexity in the context of youth. The main contribution of this study lies in the development of a specific, culturally contextualized, and empirically validated instrument that enables the exploration of social representations of gender from a comprehensive perspective. This tool holds great potential for use in research, educational settings, and the formulation of public policies aimed at promoting gender equality among young people in Spain.
