| Abstract: | Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are common and consequential among college students, but few collegiate STI educational interventions have been examined. This study therefore comprehensively evaluated a brief online STI educational program for college students. Pre- and post-test surveys gathered formative and summative data (N = 304). The intervention effectively increased participants' STI knowledge (p<.001), although some gaps persisted. Students were receptive to the program; they valued the informativeness, animated content, specific information, presentation delivery, and clarity, and provided some suggestions for improvement. Brief online STI educational programs are recommended for college students alongside additional sexuality education initiatives to enhance STI knowledge. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
