| Abstract (English): |
The objective of this research is to examine how the Mathematica software can be used to visualize and explore the geometric interpretation of the derivative of a real function of a real variable at a point. The study was conducted within the framework of the course Mathematical Analysis III of the Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics Education at the University of Holguín, where interactive representations were used for teaching key content. A mixed-methods approach was adopted for data collection and analysis, which allowed for evaluating the effectiveness of the proposal. The results show that the use of interactive representations through Mathematica was widely accepted by the students and facilitated the understanding of the concepts addressed. In conclusion, it was found that the incorporation of this software constitutes a pertinent didactic alternative to enhance the teaching-learning process in the course Mathematical Analysis. | Abstract (Spanish): |
