Child malnutrition is a public health problem that affects the physical and intellectual development of millions of children worldwide. This article examines the impact of policies implemented in Mexico and Ecuador to address this problem and the needs of schoolchildren in these regions. A review was conducted of government programs, their nutritional recommendations, educational strategies, and observed results. Based on the analysis, strengths, weaknesses, and suggestions for improving the effectiveness of these policies were identified. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

La malnutrición infantil es un problema de salud pública que afecta el desarrollo físico e intelectual de millones de infantes a nivel mundial. Este artículo examina el impacto de las políticas implementadas en México y Ecuador para combatir este problema y cuyos objetivos integren a escolares de estas regiones. Se realizó una revisión de los programas gubernamentales, sus recomendaciones nutricionales, estrategias pedagógicas y resultados observados.
