Abstract: This article describes the use of a project management approach to existing backlogs and to ongoing receipts in technical services for improved efficiency. Drawing from lessons from the COVID19 pandemic, successful strategies regarding timely backlog reduction, and improving efficiency for ongoing work are applied to new backlogs produced through a move and in absorption of additional workflows.
