Abstract (English): This article analyzes the conditions that enable socio-professional mobility among graduates in veterinary medicine and animal science in the Puebla-Tlaxcala Metropolitan Area, Mexico. It examines the dynamics of the professional field sociologically, considering socio-professional segmentation, forms of regulation, informality, and job insecurity. The analysis is organized around three dimensions: social origin, territorial conditions, and the characteristics of graduates’ education. Based on interviews and qualitative analysis, the study reveals structural inequalities that affect professional trajectories. The market is segmented into formal and informal circuits, with diverse modes of employability. Factors such as territory, institutional prestige, and capital ownership act as informal factors that establish a hierarchy within the field. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
