| Abstract: | This article reviews *Educating for Peace and Human Rights: An Introduction*, a 2021 volume by Maria Hantzopoulos and Monisha Bajaj that explores the convergence of peace education and human rights education. The book provides an accessible synthesis of theoretical frameworks and practical examples from diverse global contexts, emphasizing decolonizing perspectives and concepts such as dignity and transformative agency. It is structured around four core chapters—two each on peace education and human rights education—complemented by an introduction, conclusion, and an extensive annotated bibliography. Intended for undergraduate and master's students as well as community scholars, the text aims to inspire further critical engagement with the intertwined fields in alignment with the principles of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
