Based on elements of modern pedagogy, a dialectical relationship is built with the participatory action-research model for lifelong education, brought to practice incorporating humanistic, critical and autonomous foundations, aimed at transforming social reality through the self-managed and democratic methodological process. The reflective and comparative analysis made it possible to link pedagogical principles, cultures, and criteria with the elements that emerged during the educational training of adult groups organized into independent projects, where self-managed human development encompassed attention to material, interpersonal, and cognitive needs, as well as the promotion of collaboration. The research progress resulted in a theoretical and methodological contribution to active social participation during the comprehensive training of educational groups, incorporating a specific evaluation process, the creation of individual and collective capacities, and generating changes in their union organization and social environment. En este trabajo se presenta el resultado de la relación dialéctica de elementos de la pedagogía moderna con el modelo de investigación-acción participativa para dar origen a un método autogestivo con fundamentos humanistas, críticos y autonómicos para la educación permanente, llevado a la praxis formativa de ciudadanos como agentes sociales en la transformación de su realidad mediante participación democrática. El análisis reflexivo y comparativo permitió vincular los principios, culturas y criterios pedagógicos con los elementos surgidos durante la formación educativa en grupos de adultos organizados en proyectos independientes, en donde el desarrollo humano autogestivo abarcó la atención a necesidades de orden material, interrelacional, cognitivas y promoción de la colaboración. Los resultados derivaron en una contribución teórico-metodológica para la activa participación social incorporando procesos evaluativos específicos, creacción de capacidades individuales y colectivas, con efectos en modificaciones positivas en su entrono gremial y social.
