Abstract (English): The article analyzes the perpetuation of neoliberalism in Brazilian education through educational policies, based on the collection "Educational Policies and Neoliberalism," organized by the Group for Studies and Research in Higher Education (GEPES) at the University of Passo Fundo. The work, composed of 23 chapters divided into six sections, addresses the impacts of neoliberalism from early childhood education to higher education, highlighting the commodification of school management, the reform of secondary education, the precarization of teacher training, and the influence of meritocracy and competency-based education. The text shows that these policies promote the deinstitutionalization, devaluation, and disintegration of the educational system, in addition to emphasizing the quantitative expansion of private higher education with academic weaknesses. The collection contributes to critical reflection on the challenges imposed by neoliberalism on contemporary education in Brazil. [Extracted from the article]
[Extracted from the article]
