Abstract: The state of Minnesota's current biennial education budget, including changes from the newly adopted fiscal year 2026–2027 Legislative Budget. The P–12 education budget saw a slight increase in funding, while higher education saw no new money. Descriptions of current trends in Minnesota's funding priorities, modifications to the state funding formula, pressing issues in education finance, and human resources changes are discussed.
