Abstract:	This article elucidates how Black girls theorize, resist, and remake the world through their liberatory literacies. Guided by Octavia E. Butler’s Parable of the Sower (1993) and its Earthseed philosophy, I offer Parable Praxis, a pedagogical framework grounded in Black girls’ ways of knowing that holds imagination as a method and creation as the work of liberation. Drawing from The Astronomy Club, a six-week literacy collective with six middle-school-aged Black girls, this study asks: How do Black girls, in an afterschool learning space guided by a pedagogical framework inspired by Parable of the Sower, theorize, resist, and create educations and futures beyond the reach of antiblack systems? Using Black feminist futurity as the theoretical framing, I trace how their writing, mapping, and world-building enact refusal, reclaim belonging, and imagine justice as everyday practice. Findings affirm that Black girls have long been planting Earth(seeds) of liberation and cultivating new worlds. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
