Abstract: Communication gaps remain a challenge for new-to-practice registered nurses. A four-station simulation was embedded within a multi-specialty nurse residency program to reinforce structured communication and high-reliability behaviors. Casey-Fink survey results showed improved self-reported communication competencies at 12 months post-hire, supporting program outcomes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
