This research aims to demonstrate the syntactic and case properties of the Synthetic Genitive in the Arabic language from a generative linguistic perspective, specifically within the minimalist program as presented in Chomsky (1995). It explores how the external case of the entire genitive construction is checked, as well as the mechanism by which the genitive case assigned to the (DP) complement is checked. From this standpoint, the discussion focuses on the justification for case in the Synthetic Genitive We will attempt to operationalize this discussion through problematic questions, such as: what is the logical manner in Which the genitive case assigned to the DP complement is checked?
