Abstract: In this paper, we discuss our collaboration with ChatGPT in the creation of a fraction bar applet in GeoGebra. As we document our successes and challenges as we use AI to develop the applet, we illustrate how AI's role as a collaborator that helps teachers augment and extend their instructional capabilities.
