Abstract (English): This research presents a pedagogical strategy for the development of academic projects in artisanal design, highlighting the collaborative potential between artisans and designers through co-creative processes as a way to preserve traditional knowledge and crafts for new generations of designers. Objective: to analyze the congruences, differences, and perspectives between artisanal work and artisanal design from the academic perspective of project development. Methodology: the research was carried out from a pedagogical approach of Participatory Action Research (PAR) and was developed in the academic course Artisan Design Workshop (TDA) at the Research University (UDI), located in Bucaramanga (Santander, Colombia). Four main phases were implemented: 1) Plan Phase; 2) Know Phase; 3) Act Phase; 4) Propose Phase. Results: a pedagogical strategy is presented, composed of four elements: 1) conceptual model; 2) methodological framework; 3) teaching tools; and 4) visualization of results. This strategy seeks to structure and facilitate the development of the academic course as a space for the training of new designers interested in preserving artisanal values and the identity of their territories. Conclusions: the proposed pedagogical strategy represents an academic commitment to strengthening collaborative work processes between artisans and designers, recognizing traditional knowledge and incorporating new creative and productive perspectives for the artisan sector.
