| Abstract (English): | The special issue "Beyond the Product: Artificial Intelligence, Situated Learning, and Academic Integrity" addresses the impact of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) in education, emphasizing the need for ethical and critical use that goes beyond the final product to focus on the learning process. It presents studies on the perceptions and practices of future teachers and university students, as well as innovative methodological proposals such as project-based learning with digital twins and the assessment of critical thinking mediated by AI. Furthermore, it highlights that AI can enhance learning if accompanied by intentional pedagogical interventions, underscoring the fundamental role of the teacher as a mediator and facilitator in situated and personalized educational contexts. The special issue invites a rethinking of teaching, assessment, and academic integrity in a context transformed by AI, without losing sight of ethical responsibility and teacher training.
