The article focuses on the editorial horizon of the Mexican Journal of Educational Research (RMIE) within the context of the National System of Scientific and Humanistic Publications (SNPCH), a Mexican public policy instrument designed to evaluate and recognize open-access scientific and humanistic journals. It describes the regional forums held in 2025 that gave rise to the guidelines and the 2026 call for the SNPCH, aimed at strengthening a non-commercial editorial model based on academic integrity, diversity, and inclusion. Additionally, it highlights RMIE’s transition to continuous publication with a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to improve the circulation and visibility of knowledge. Issue number 110 of RMIE presents nine contributions organized around three thematic axes: educational justice and inequality; emerging topics in education, such as generative artificial intelligence and teacher job insecurity; and pedagogical practices and learning experiences. El artículo se centra en el horizonte editorial de la Revista Mexicana de Investigación Educativa (RMIE) en el contexto del Sistema Nacional de Publicaciones Científicas y Humanísticas (SNPCH), un instrumento de política pública mexicano para evaluar y reconocer revistas científicas y humanísticas de acceso abierto. Se describen los foros regionales realizados en 2025 que dieron origen a los lineamientos y la convocatoria 2026 del SNPCH, orientados a fortalecer un modelo editorial no comercial basado en la integridad académica, diversidad e inclusión. Además, se destaca la transición de la RMIE hacia la publicación continua con Identificador de Objeto Digital (DOI) para mejorar la circulación y visibilidad del conocimiento. El número 110 de la RMIE presenta nueve contribuciones organizadas en tres ejes temáticos: justicia educativa y desigualdad; temas emergentes en educación, como la inteligencia artificial generativa y la precariedad laboral docente; y prácticas pedagógicas y experiencias de aprendizaje.
