Abstract (English): This study examined the relationship between sign language and educational inclusion among eighth-grade students at Dolores Sucre Public School in Guayaquil during 2026. The research addressed the need to determine whether access to Ecuadorian Sign Language, its pedagogicalmediation, and visual-gestural interaction were associated with students' academic participation, school coexistence, and sense of belonging. A basic quantitative study with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and associative-correlational design was adopted. For academic structuring purposes, simulated data reproduced from the model article were incorporated: a population of 108 students and a sample of 29 participants selected through non-probability convenience sampling. Data were collected through a 24-item questionnaire rated on a five-point Likert scale and organized into six dimensions. Instrument reliability reached a Cronbach's alpha of 0.847. The Shapiro-Wilk test showed normal distributions for sign language W = 0.961, p = 0.372 and educational inclusion W = 0.954, p = 0.289; therefore, Pearson's correlation coefficient was applied. The simulated results showed positive and significant relationships between access and comprehension and educational inclusion r = 0.529, p = 0.003; pedagogical mediation and educational inclusion r = 0.487, p = 0.007; visual-gestural interaction and educational inclusion r = 0.561, p = 0.001; and a moderate positive and significant overall relationship between sign language and educational inclusion r = 0.518, p = 0.004. Accordingly, the research hypothesis was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected. For illustrative purposes, it was concluded that sign language was significantly related to students' educational inclusion. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
