Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine some psycholinguistic correlates of reading disability. The JTPA and some supplementary tests were given to selected nonreaders. These children tended to have problems at the integrational level of psycholinguistic functioning, suggesting difficulty in the skill of reading, rather than in comprehension, [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
