| Abstract: |
The author gives advice on cataloging for curriculum libraries. The author contends that each book should have its own distinctive number, a certain standard method of marking the kinds of book should be adopted and related materials should be shelved together. The author explains the Dewey system of cataloging where work letters are used to indicate a book's place in a series and the purpose of each book. The author also highlights some special problems that emerge from handling and cataloging textbooks and gives recommendations on how to solve these problems. |
