Abstract: The article focuses on the effect of technical preparation on the speed of student's graduation. Technical preparation programs focuses on a curriculum that includes advanced academics and career-technical courses with a hands-on element. Technical preparation programs that offered an integrated curriculum were successful. Students who were identified as tech prep students in Georgia received articulated credit at the technical college because they took certain identified courses in high school. This reveals that tech prep students graduates faster as compared to non-tech prep students.
