Abstract:	The article focuses on the use of discovery learning in teaching computer software skills. Jean Piaget, a Swiss developmentalist focusing on understanding knowledge evolution, was the first proponent of the discovery learning. In business classroom application, such method of teaching involves instruction where a series of questions or experiences are used as a guide for learners toward the target discovery. It is through this learning that software skills can be successfully taught through introduction of the general concept to be learned, providing the students with instructions leading to the discovery, discussing to reinforce the concepts that were to be learned and those any identifiable concepts that may have been learned incidentally, creating problem-solving activities and providing activities that rely on students' discoveries and their creativity.
