Abstract:	The article presents the author's experience of devising the ways of assessing the creative thinking capabilities of people. To determine the capability, the Square task and parallel Lines Task was included with Circles Task. The adopted test methods included various versions of the Incomplete Figures Test, the Picture Construction or Shape test, Manipulative Design Task, and the Science-Toy Test. The problems of test administration with tasks requiring multiple verbal responses were, the issues surrounding individual, oral administration versus group, written administration. The validity of the tests was established by adopting one or more defined approaches.
