Abstract: The article discusses the curricular organization on the teaching of United States history in grades VII and VIII that are appropriate to the students in the U.S. The first method suggested to introduce American history in the classroom instruction is to start in the general story where the teacher presents the country's origin and development as a whole. Along with the general history is its division according to particular events or facts.
