| Abstract: | The article describes the results of an experimental instructional program for gifted children in Hunter College Elementary School in New York City. The various forms of outstanding mental ability in children are measured by evaluating their space conceptualization, vocabulary, number ability, reasoning and scientific knowledge. Special instruction in a certain area causes greater learning among the children identified as gifted than among other children. |
