The author discusses the topics featured in the recent issue of "International Journal of Research and Method in Education" that focuses on methodology in education. He mentions the article submitted by Stephen Gorard which suggests that policy initiatives appear to have very little effect on education. Furthermore, he stresses that Kate Wall and Steve Higgins have provided new technique that would stimulate reflection on the processes of thinking in different learning contexts. |
