The article discusses the suggested rating scale for textbooks for school children in the U.S. The standard of evaluation is needed in choosing textbooks so that a degree of objectivity may be maintained. A simple foundation scale has been presented which was developed after a practical experience in choosing of textbooks for schools and after discussing the phases of this experience with other school teachers and administrators. |
