| Abstract: |
The article focuses on the efforts of several universities and colleges in the U.S. to solve the problem in classroom space. A survey in 2005 cited lack of classroom space as a major issue for campus administrators. A classroom utilization study by Performa revealed that only 13 classrooms were used more than the 67% benchmark in Geneva College in Pennsylvania. Boise State University in Idaho turned to a space analysis software to help gather data on individual room and seat utilization across the campus. |
