Abstract: The article discusses factors affecting the athletic ability of dragon and lion dance athletes in China. Dragon and Lion dance is a sport integrated with martial arts, dance, music and art, in which the athletes' artistic expression embodies their perfect movements. The athletes' demonstrative sense, physical quality and understanding of music were considered.
