| Abstract: | The article discusses the importance of object in developing critical thinking on students in the U.S. It states that objects are made for particular purposes and through close examination flashes students curiosity which leads to increase their critical thinking. It explains that considering the context of the society in which people uses object as a tool to make connections in their own lives, uncover its complexity which provokes students to think. However, there are principles for guiding object-centered discussion to encourage students to think which include starting with learners observations by encouraging students to look closely and directly to the object, and encourage expansive thinking by helping students uncover the complexity of an object. |
