| Abstract: |
The article provides information on the participation of Canadian Library Trustees Association members at the 2008 Canadian Library Association (CLA) conference in Canada. Jan Harder gave a session about the relations between city councils and library boards in a presentation titled "City Council, Library Boards-Working Together, Working Apart." Alexandra Yarrow also shared her perspective on the significance of diversity of representation and the importance of advocacy in the board. |
