Abstract (English): This paper gives a summary of how the different information and communication technologies have changed the societies which have used them through the years. Consecration and adoption of different technologies have fulfilled beliefs and expectations that eventually have come true. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): Las diferentes tecnologías de la información y comunicación han cambiado con el paso de los años las diferentes sociedades por donde se han ido implantando. La consagración y adopción de las diferentes tecnologías ha consistido en procesos formativos mediante los cuales las creencias y expectativas que se les atribuían han hecho tal efecto que al final acaban por ser realidades y ante ella hemos de enfrentarnos. Ese trabajo refleja la invisibilidad con que las tecnologías han irrumpido en la vida diaria. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
