Abstract: The article presents a study that documents basic descriptive information on district schools of California in program improvement and compares them with districts that are not identified for improvement. It states that an additional 207 districts had not made proper annual improvement for three consecutive years. It is concluded that California's districts in program improvement had overseen more schools in improvement compared to districts that are not identified for improvement.
