Abstract: The increasing use of computers and related technologies throughout the society has become a concern among some families with young children and the teachers who work with them. Of particular concern to these families and teachers is the issue of computer use and young children. Although there are those who believe that computer use among young children should be discouraged, before a certain age, others are more apt to encourage its use at anytime within the formative years of a child's development. This paper will discuss the use of computers and related technologies among young children and its possible impact on these children. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
