Abstract: The authors reflect on various studies that articulated the conceptual and theoretical basis of the teaching practice as tutors and facilitators of learning. They note that argument of sensemaking and critical reflective learning is not purely culturally bound, but culturally free as well. They also stress that the development of a model for tracking the development of the student provides a conceptual base for this reflective learning.
