Abstract: The article offers insights about the benefits of e-portfolios for students and the faculty in the U.S. It mentions that despite the rising questions about its impact and effectiveness, e-portfolios offer a rich resource for both students and faculty to learn about achievement of important outcomes overtime and develop identities as learners or as facilitators. E-portfolio can build learners' personal and academic identities as they complete complex projects, facilitate the integration of learning, and be focused on developing self-assessment abilities in which students judge the quality of work using the same criteria experts. Furthermore, the article presents students opinions about the effectiveness of e-portfolio and proposes on student's learning.
