| Abstract: |
Chapter 12 of the book "Gateways to Spirituality: Pre-School Through Grade Twelve" is presented. It explains why religious studies must be included in the curriculum of K-12 level in the U.S. It argues that K-12 education that fosters a more traditional religious viewpoints allows students to be more human beings. It also emphasizes that applying a university-like approach to a K-12 setting is philosophically and developmentally inappropriate. |
