Abstract:	The article discusses the controversy behind the use of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) in the U.S. It states that due to several circumstances of using the SAT, more people criticize system especially for inhibiting access to higher education. It notes that critics of the 21st century critics focus their concern on the reduction of the significant portion of the examination's original intent. The author analyzes the future of the use of SAT as a means which would determine the students capacity to be used in their college studies.
