The article explores the international recognition of the Spanish social sciences as measured by the incidence of citation of high quality Spanish social science journals in international social science databases. It notes that several of these publications, including "International Journal of Clinical and Health Psychology," "Psicothema," and "Revista Española de Salud Pública," appeared in the "Social Sciences Edition" of the "Journal Citation Report" in 2008, published by the "Web of Knowledge" and "Web of Science" Web sites owned by information company Thomson. |
