Abstract: The article examines the use of dynamic software environment in an educational technology paradigm. The study aims to introduce the notion of co-action by examining the relationship between the user or the students and such environments. Details related to the exemplars, including dynamic geometry, simulations, and extension to networked classrooms, suggest that the space of learning environment changes and drives the Zone of Proximal Development of the Artifact (ZPDA) via co-action.
