The author comments on the ways to measure school libraries' effectiveness in Great Britain. The author mentions that the efficacy of school libraries to provide quality service to students is not measured on its book collections alone, but its ability to establish positive relationship among users. Moreover, he adds that the effective library service is measured by the quality of services given by librarians and its staff for the welfare of students using them. |
