| Abstract: |
In this article, the authors discuss the diagnosis of pleuropneumonia in horses. The authors state that anorexia, respiratory difficulty, and pleural pain are often manifested from horses with pleuropneumonia. They tackle the association of general anaesthesia with the development of pleuropneumonia. They mention the various diagnostic approach to potential septic pleural effusion including thoracic ultrasound, thoracocentesis, and basic clinicopathological testing. |
